mt350 panniers for mt500

Post by mtrider123 » Sat Dec 17, 2022 2:54 am

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but how does the mt350 handle with the two front panniers, how many litres can they carry and are the mounts durble for off road use. I'm planning on touring america sometime next year and will need 80-100 litres of storage I think, how would the bike handle with two front paniers and two rear panniers?
as for the rear panniers, I will either go for a soft set from fleabay or modify a pair of small hardshell suitcases as they seem durable (they open the wrong way is the only downside).

As for MT350 pannier mount durability, they are robust and will take a lot of abuse. If you want to you can replace the mounting bobbins easily. In terms of capacity from memory their capacity is 15kg each.

An MT has been ridden two-up from UK to Moscow and back. I'm sure they adjusted their luggage to the capacity available.
