Lomo Large Adventure Pannier Dry Bags

Post by StewartR » Wed Jul 27, 2022 11:45 am

Got myself a pair of Lomo's large Adventure Panniers having done some measurements and they seem to be a decent fit. These are rolled down to their smallest size and haven't actually been attached properly but I'm pleased with how they go on. Taking the MT down to Tucker's Grave campsite/pub in a few weeks so I'll update this thread with how they worked in anger.

Off to Tucker's Grave this morning. My girlfriend decided to take her Bobber and both bikes are now fully loaded and ready for the off.
I don't know what you think but I reckon we have nailed the luggage sharing 👍

After their first use in anger I'm chuffed with these. Great panniers that also double up nicely as ice buckets - got the beers nice and cold even though it was well over 30⁰c. All the ice eventually melted and only the tiniest amount of water leaked out so pretty happy they will be properly dry if the rain ever comes back.

They look like decent bags for the money, still deciding on getting a pair of these, using a modified dj box as a modified hard pannier or a pair of cut in half plastic fuel cans.

After you posted originally, I took a look at their website and was impressed. Certainly compared price for price with other adventure style luggage. Be interesting to hear what you think after some winter riding.
