The bunkhouse has capacity for 24 people . The first 24 people to pay will confirm a place .
No reductions if you only want to stay one night, sorry .
We have male and female members attending , and due to the layout of the bunkhouse we can’t unfortunately do segregated areas , so it may be mixed. If you are not comfortable with that , please do not book a bunk .
Plenty of space outside for tents, vans , etc. and support vehicles
Location - On the A490, Llanfyllin, Wales, SY22 5LD
Arrival from midday on Fri 17 Sept . Depart Sunday 19 Sept
Breakfasts will be available at the accommodation .(prices and arrangements tbc) A snack (pie) will be available on the Friday night . The Saturday night plan is to go to the pub in the village (walking distance) for those who wish to .
The MTRC Big Meet is traditionally a social event . We don’t have any plans for doing organised ride outs but probably some informal arrangements can be made at the time . Plenty of beautiful countryside to explore .
Gary (Minter) will be with us with the club shop. Please bring cash and stock up on your MT merchandise ! all sale proceeds go to the club . .
If you have any second hand MT stuff you want to sell, you are welcome to bring it with you .
Important information :
Covid , we have to live with it but with sensible precautions to try and protect us all . If you or a member of your household have tested positive in the 10 days before the event , or are required to self isolate per Government regulations , please do not attend (we will refund you if you can’t come for that reason ). You will be in close proximity to others , particularly in the bunkhouse ( masks will not be required) and the pub , so if you are worried about that you may prefer to sleep outside or choose not to attend.
Lateral flow tests are available free from the NHS , and it would be appreciated if you could do a test in the 24 hours before arrival, but only if you are happy to do so .
Bikes - as always , as a condition of coming to an event , your bike must be roadworthy , insured , taxed and MOT’d . You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others when riding your bike .
Obviously any stupidity ,endangering others , damaging the venue /grounds , churning up grass etc is not acceptable - we want to be welcomed back again .
Tents and vans - usual advice , please don’t use BBQs or burn gas in enclosed spaces , carbon monoxide is an odourless silent killer .
any more interested in coming , please add your name on viewtopic.php?f=98&t=25532
If you have already put your name down on the attendees thread you don't need to reply on this as well , just arrange payment .
Looking forward to it , will be great to meet up again .
Any questions please ask
Ian
