Really sorry about this but due to a quite severe injury I will not be able to join you. I don't mend that quick any more and breaking the top off my femur may take some time.

That's a proper biggy, so you don't need to send a absence note. Somebody will be taking video's I'm sure and so you be able to enjoy most of it from your armchair.

No Problem Jon, you can take it for a blat if you want, you will be surprised at its acceleration and handling, ( I Hope) now that I have it running properly with the carb set up nicely, new shocks and new fork seals and new brakes shoes front and rear.

I've recce'd most of the route and reckon I've got the timings about right. 2-3hrs ride out to the cafe/lunch and a couple of hours ride back to camp for late afternoon.
The off road bits are all mostly flattish (not rutted to buggery by 4x4's) and 90% dry (if it doesn't p**s down), there will no doubt be some wet bits for those who insist on the opportunity to fall off into mud.
There will be opportunities to fill up with petrol throughout the day if needed
I'll run up some maps with a few strategic places identified on the route (what3words) for those who get lost, or want to avoid the rufty tufty stuff.
Total distance will be around 60miles (depending on times), including a 15 mile blast (on a MT ) up the A47, 30-40miles on B and minor roads, and around 10 miles will on tracks.
I've got a mate with a bike trailer and so I can probably even throw in recovery if needed.
