Northamptonshire bimbling?

Post by Jon P » Sun Apr 18, 2021 8:32 pm

As well as being an MT500 owner, I'm the forestry manager for a large estate between Kettering and Corby. We have around 15-20 miles of hard tracks and grass rides through the woodlands and around the estate, as well as an old ironstone quarry. I was wondering if anybody was interested in getting a few of us together for a bimble around one day during the summer?
Some of you will have been through the estate one cold, muddy winters day, I've seen the video on you tube from 2016

Sounds great. We have had some good rides in the past on forest land.
Just need a campsite nearby with a pub. :D

I can provide a secure flat field, water and a loo at no cost. However, nearest pub would be about 2 miles away. Although there is a possibility of another site within walking distance of a pub, but that would depend on numbers and also not sure about availability at present

Sounds great! We used to have a regular club meet and ride out in that area a few years ago! Would be good to get another regular meet there again..

Great, I'll work on something. I'm thinking sometime end of June, start of July? If there are any other events around that time that clash then let me know, otherwise I'll pick a weekend and work around that.
