Don,t worry i think we have all been caught out by that old chestnut at some time!
As for the bike being a bit of a rat.......i think it looks great and have seen far worse. Hope you get it sorted soon.

You can get mud most places and it suits them better than polishbut I'm already gathering the bits to make it tidy.
