North Wales- September 28th

Post by Bonnielad » Tue Sep 10, 2019 9:21 pm

Our annual trip to North Wales is due to take place on the weekend of September 28th. The usual set up of arrive Friday, ride Saturday & home Sunday.
If you would like to join us we are camping at the Carrog Station campsite LL21 9BD www.stationcampsite.com 01490 430237
Please book yourselves in. They are expecting us.
The pub for evening meals is 1/4 mile away over the river (bring your torch). You will need to make your own breakfast arrangements.
Chippy tells me that the Wayfarer is currently out of bounds but there are plenty of other trails. If enough riders are interested there are some great roads round there.
See you there.

North Wales- September 28th. Offroad.

We haven't got a local TRF guide this year. I am therefore hoping to cobble together an offroad route from Bonnielad's maps.

If there are too many of us we will have to designate a second offroad group.

Therefore, to gauge how many offroaders - please say so here.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

Latest email message from the campsite:

We are currently extremely limited on pitches as we no longer have use of our large camp field.
If you could tell the other group members that if they don't have a booking we won't be able to allow them to stay due to space being so limited.
Look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

It's the same dates as oddballs rally and also that ride to London for the protest for soldier x so I think a few people may be going to those events.

It's not really a problem for me Stu. Whenever you organise an event it will almost inevitably clash with something else and we can only be in one place at once, that's how come I missed the big meet.
Or, to be selfish for a second, I'm going! I'll enjoy it, so if no-one else turns up I'll still have a great weekend :D

Recently moved house and my MT has been at my mate's garage. Have made room my garage, and have back now, my wife has decided to go pillion, and we have booked to go to the Oddballs summer Ball. Hope you all enjoy the North Wales meet, and off road experience.

Nope, no problem, was just trying to explain to myself the reason for lower numbers.

Lardmarc and Jooles, if you're not offroading maybe we can meet up somewhere for lunch.
