Just a tip I learned last time .
From Church Stretton the direct route to the camp site is over the Long Mynd , which is a lovely scenic road on a bike . However, it is what some might call courageous or unwise to do that in a large vehicle like a van or towing anything as it is very narrow and twisty in places and difficult to pass oncoming traffic, and a few big drops by roadside.
I used the A489 road and approached via Norbury direction , a longer way round but easier

What a fantastic weekend. Big thanks to or chefs and for the group leaders on the ride outs. Very nice to see so many new members, and to see all the usual suspects. Cracking weekend!
