BIG MEET 2019- Shropshire: info and attendance- weekend of 30 Aug

As previously announced we have the venue for the 2019 MTRC Big Meet , our main gathering of the year

this will take place on the weekend of Fri 30 August to Sun 1 Sept 2019 at Brow Farm Camp Site, Ratlinghope , Shropshire , England , SY5 0SR

This is a fantastic beautiful part of the country , the campsite is in a valley off the beaten track , we will have our own exclusive field with WC block etc, and will be bringing the club marquee and all the kit there. There is a pub within walking distance.

Usual format , arrival on the Friday ,riding Saturday , drinking in the evenings! , depart on the Sunday .

We are planning to do some green lanes and I am told there are some good ones in the area , and also a road group out to Wales , or just chill out and relax whatever suits you .

Price of the event : £45 per person for the weekend.
For that, you will get 2 nights camping, and we will supply hot evening meal of the Friday and Saturday evening, and cooked breakfasts on the Saturday and Sunday morning, and we will also throw in some beers and tea & coffee.
you can bring a van/campervan if you wish.

As always , it's an MT club members meet, our main meeting of the year , all members welcome ,including any who haven't been to one of our meets before. We don't take ourselves too seriously, and are a harmless friendly bunch , bring an MT and a sense of humour .
Please also be willing to volunteer to help with setting up, cooking , washing up, general keeping site tidy .

Bring your own plates, cutlery etc .

If you are vegetarian, vegan or have any food allergies it would be helpful if you could let us know in advance (by personal message) so we can make arrangements as appropriate .

Probably goes without saying, we are guests on a site so no excessive noise and churning the field up , behaving like a bell-end and annoying other guest and locals , or drunken stupidity etc.- just common sense, its not easy to find places that welcome groups with bikes so we don't want any problems . We have been to this venue in 2017 and we are welcome back.

It will really help if we can get an early confirmation of numbers to plan catering etc , so please can you add your name to this thread if you definitely want to come.
