If you want to get rid of some Kev, and you've got room, bring it anyway. If we don't use it we can leave it for the next visitors.
Thanks.

Just sorting final details on this so I need some clarification. As it stands at the moment we are hoping to run 3 groups: Serious trails (led by Deadgrass), Road tour (led by Hounddog) and if we have enough takers then we will also have a 'training group' which Minter has kindly offered his services to teach us some of his amazing abilities. I still need to find a suitable venue for this but if we can't find anywhere we will do a steadier ride out with occasional stops at features such as 'how to ride a rut', how to recover after stalling on a steep climb, etc.
Please let me know which of the three group you prefer.

Thanks.

You've missed the fourth group.

Going to the pub and getting trollied. Back for a little nap to recuperate in time for an evening of going to the pub and getting trollied.

In my quest to find a suitable training venue I have spoken with the owner of Nant Mawr quarry, which is about 20 minutes from the Workhouse.
Nant Mawr is used as a venue for Hare & Hounds, Dawn to Dusk type events aswell as trials and 4x4 events.
I really think it could be very worthwhile for all of us to go there if I can arrange it. We could play there for the day without any worries, there are enough features to challenge the better riders and plenty of opportunity for training tips.
Also, if anyone wants to take an off-road bike or one that isn't road legal, that should be OK because we will be on private land.

Please look on You Tube for Nant Mawr Quarry and you will see why I think this could turn our weekend into a fantastic one.
I have yet to confirm all this, I don't even know if the place is already booked on that day, but for it to work we need as many bodies as possible to make it viable for the owner to allows us in - at a likely cost of ÂŁ20 each - so tell me if you agree with the idea.

happy to go along with this steve,
we could start and finish riding when suits us individually rather than being put under [unintentional pressure] to see the day out,
