Fitted the new 36mm delorto to my outfit today .removed the mikuni carb as I really don't like them Coz of over fuelling .
It was a difficult job as the delorto is rather large .
Best way I found was connect the two rubbers to the carb . Undo the air box to give yourself a bit of tolerance and jiggle 😎
Firing her up tomorrow

Been meaning to change tyres for two weeks. Last week in the rain I braked, the bike didn’t!
We both went down. Result is: bruised arse, bent handle bars, knackered switch gear, one bent bark buster and a little light scratching.

So I have replaced the tyres, switch gear, bar and bark buster. Took a codeine for the bruised arse but found nothing to take away the self recrimination!

Came to replace rear brake shoes, noticed wheel bearings seal has come off, ordered new bearings, whilst fitting them noticed a couple of spokes had broken again! Decided to replace them all so have just ordered new ones from central wheels. While I am waiting for them Ill get the hub and rim powdercoated.
So much for a quick job!
