What have you done to your MT today ? contd
Re: What have you done to your MT today ? contd
Fixed my first problem today, brake light was responding to front lever intermittently, then stopped working altogether yesterday. Switch itself tested OK. Eventually found one of the wires broken, inside the loom by the headstock. I think my multimeter may see plenty of action with this bike.
Also took the opportunity to clean and grease the earth points.

Replaced the seat cover with a new one from Wild Extreme, fitted perfectly and straightforward to do. Looks good!

If your old cable is still serviceable leave it routed in with the ends taped up You then have a get-you-home spare you can fit in a trice should your new cable fail (they fail with no warning at the handlebar end)highland al wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 2:54 pmReplaced clutch cable today, clutch a lot smoother now!
