Hi, Me and the Mrs are definitely coming - we've booked the camp site for Saturday and Sunday, can't join you on Friday night but we'll see you on Saturday morning between 9 and 9.30. As we giving you such short notice, do you want us to contact the Wensleydale Pantry to add ourselves to the numbers for Saturday night?

I'm sure you'll enjoy the liquid sunshine in Yorkshire. A little damp will keep the dust down and freshen the vegetation

PS Just checked BBC Weather forecast for Hawes- Lightning Friday 1200 to 2200 Only 65% chance of rain Be lucky

No need for anyone to contact the Wensleydale Pantry. Some riders will be arriving Saturday morning, some will be leaving before the Saturday meal so exact figures are hard to pin down. I've arranged for enough space for us both nights and we will all order from their standard menu so its not a problem.

It can't be as wet as our holiday at the Bushmoot in Wales in 2016, we couldn't get to camp the first night as the road was several feet deep in water! It would just be nice to be able to arrive and get set up before the rain arrives.

This brings us back to Monty Python..... I remember the year we went camping and had to don flippers and snorkel to pitch our tent....

I'm sure you'll be fine When everyone works together to help new arrivals to get set up, tents will be up in no time

At the moment everything is so dry if it does rain it may flash flood a bit but will run off quickly and soon dry off :D

Also, rest assured that the campsite is well positioned away from rivers with good drainage so we might get wet but surely we are used to that
