It's in my Diary! I will have to check with SWMBO though!

Looking forward to it, I was out on the MT yesterday and my thumb is definitely improving so hopefully I'll have full mobility back by April :-)

OOPS! We may have to review this. First thing, Dave needs to confirm the Farmer's permission. April is lambing time so it hinges on his approval. Secondly, the workhouse has a 'provisional' prior booking which would take precedence. Hold your breath, I'll keep you informed.

I remember an April weekend exercise in North Wales We just streched a tarp between the Saladin and some trees

I woke up to find the end of my sleeping bag covered in cold white stuff !

The workhouse have confirmed that it is available for that weekend so we are now just waiting for approval from the farmer. This probably won't happen immediately but we will let you know as soon as we can.

I've put it in the Diary, I hope the Farmer has space for us to ride.
I will be using my van as I'm on my way to Yorkshire after the weekend.
Should I contact Tree directly about the Van space and electric hook up?

Looking forward to it!
Thanks for doing this Steve, it is a lot of work, like herding cats with this lot :-)

Phil, I'm not sure about an electric hook up. There aren't any official ones available. Minter just ran an extension into the kitchen last weekend but that won't really be possible for all of us. I would suggest we plan for no electricity if we are glamping.

Right. Time to get this back on track.
Dave hasn't managed to catch the farmer again yet but we've decided that because of the level of interest, we ought to book the workhouse again anyway so we don't miss it.
If we can't use the hill, we can go out on the trails and just keep stopping at suitable points to pick up the lessons as we ride around.
I will email Tree today and confirm the booking.
I am assuming everyone is happy with the same set up as the January event? £15 per person per night, regardless of where they sleep. £8 per person for one of their enormous breakfasts. Evening meals at the Cain Valley Hotel again. So if we stay Friday and Saturday, Tree will want £46 from each of us, then whatever your spends are at the pub.
Plenty of camping space but I don't think there are any electric hook ups.
