ADMIN team change

Post by Bunker » Mon Dec 18, 2017 11:16 pm

With a heavy heart it is necessary to announce that Eric (Wirralman) is stepping down as an administrator of our club/ forum.

As most of you will know Eric has suffered with his health over the last few years yet has been an amazing stanchion to our presence here. Very very few of you will know the huge amount of work he has put in behind the scenes to keep the threads clear of rubbish, abuse, misdirection, misplacement etc aswell as general helpfulness.
On behalf of the club I thank you Eric from the bottom of my heart, I know sometimes we didn't agree but thats human nature and I respect and cherish you immensely.

In lieu of Eric we begged and cajoled Steve Ascough (Bonnielad) to lend us his administrative experience (with other clubs) and mix it with his passion for ours. Steve accepted and is now a member of the team. Steve's input on events and other matters has been excellent and welcomed already for years, so we stand up with a wild fanfare to welcome him into the role.

Im sure you all join me to wish Eric a nice and peaceful presence here and we hope to still benefit from his wisdom for years to come and to welcome Steve.

Thank you

Simon.

Thanks Eric for all your help over the years. It was always interesting to talk to you and be educated by your vast knowledge of various subjects. You were one of the first cheery faces I met around the camp fire at North Wales. :D
Good luck to Steve. I know you will do a fantastic job. :D

Eric, the first person I met as an MTRC member at the big meet. You have policed my posts since I joined and told me off many times. Your sense of humour is second to none.
Thanks mate.
Steve, I think you have some very big shoes to fill. Good luck ;)

Thanks Eric for all your forum-work!
Especially for members far away from the UK, this forum is the only place were you can find (sometimes :D ) useful MT-information.
Good luck Steve!
