East Sussex, Nov 17th - 19th

Post by MadStu » Tue Sep 05, 2017 11:04 am

Hi all,
I'm organising a private event on the weekend November 17th - 19th. Plan will be as usual, arrive Friday, ride Saturday, go home Sunday.

My friend has said we can use his big garden, provided we follow a few basic rules so that we don't annoy his neighbour and his family.

I'll book us into a good pub for a meal on Saturday evening.

Please pm me if you'd like to attend!

Attendance list.

Small update. I'm sorry details haven't come sooner. The campsite I originally wanted us to stay at are wanting to charge what I think are rather expensive rates at ÂŁ20 per night for camping. They get away with it due to the location. I've asked for a group discount but they're unwilling to offer anything else.

We've got the option of paying a far smaller amount to my amazing friend, Dan, and use his land, but we would need a portaloo or another toilet solution.

My own main focus for the Saturday ride would be leading a trail riding group, but I can also also arrange a road riding group with guide for those who prefer that sort of thing! Lots of interesting and beautiful places to see around here.

Anyway, after Pirate's amazing wye weekend I'm looking forward to seeing you all again!

And Phil, you're more than welcome to sleep in my nice warm van if the camping is too cold for you!

Ok things are getting finalised. We'll be staying on my friends bit of land, the cost to stay over is free!
There will be a small cost to hire a portaloo though, and that will be split equally between us.

Cheers!
