Small things... but now that my bike is IOM registered, I have a local plate.

So my MT350 is now carrying DMN350X as its number plate. Not sure why, but this makes me smile.

Fitted Storm handguards on the barkbusters. Not sure if I'll paint them yet.

If you paint then use off road , brushing against branches etc you may find it comes off A bare hand guard with scratches looks , in my opinion, better than a guard with paint scraped off

Was leaning over the ZZR attaching it to the trickle charger; a mighty crash as I caught the MT-500 (there's a thought, what *is* the proper sidestand lean angle for that bike?) and the small smelly green one went down in a pile. Total damage? Left hand cluster rotated on the bar. Fixed in a minute with a small application of allen key. Can't say the same for the metal sheet shed wall. Taken a hell of a kicking.

The correct lean angle ? My guess is there is an advisable range allowing for worn bushes One range for right hand stands and one for left, doubt whether they are the same angle from vertical!

I replaced the speedo bulb. While I was at it I managed to fix the trip. Adapting an old BSA speedo cable and running it down and towards the petrol tank. Seems to have done the job.

I removed some more parts for repainting off my 'winter camo' 640.
Olive drab looks rather better, IMHO.
