I expect one of your mates will let you stay in their vanette if the weather turns Welsh.

Thanks to Deadgrass and Shiney for turning up. The rest of you chaps all missed a treat.
Five of us set out on Saturday morning, ALL on MTs. Early on the trails my son Lee (Bigash760) decided to give Mr Shiney a puddle splash but the puddle was deeper than he thought and the water dragged his feet from the pedals and he went over the bars, falling directly in front of Steve who had no chance to move out of the way. The fall didn't really do any damage but being run over resulted in a broken leg so it was a trip to A&E for him, and seriously wounded pride that an old squaddie got run over by an ex-RAF pilot. You would have thought he should have been able to get airborne.
Once back on the trails there was a point when all four of us were completely bogged down. Thank god for the stronger lads otherwise I think I would still be there!
Back at the farm, the band on Saturday evening were brilliant. Sunday sent some out on a treasure hunt, then we had the 'Junior kick start' course, air rifle shooting competition and a quad course (against the clock).
A shame we had such low numbers, you missed a brilliant weekend.

Sorry i couldn't stop the weekend but i did actually turn up :(
i arrived around 3pm on Friday just as a woman was unloading her Audi TT( with bedding ) and the bandstand was being erected . Got a phone call from work and had to return to Nottingham . got p***ed wet through going back, a total trip of 132miles. :o
Next year i will have to remember to turn my phone off.
Gutted to say the least.
