Doncaster bike club at Pauls farm 2017

Post by Bonnielad » Sun Aug 06, 2017 4:06 pm

Details are:
Hosts: Paul & Karen Liddle
(with help from Superphil, Bonnielad and the Doncaster & District Motor Cycle Club).
Lowgate Crossing Farm
Lowgate
Balne
Nr Doncaster
DN14 0ED

MTRC members are welcome to arrive & camp on Friday 18th August. Food is arranged for the whole weekend.
Saturday trail ride out (expect mud).
Saturday evening - Band entertainment/bar/food. All courtesy of Paul. In the past there have been a few gluttons that have taken the piss of this hospitality (NOT members of this club) so we are likely to ask for voluntary contributions towards the cost of food & entertainment.
Sunday - Trophies available for:
Best pre 1980 bike.
Best post 1980 bike.
Best in show.
Shooting competition.
Treasure hunt.
Trials course - Bear in mind that previous champions Madstu and Minter aren't able to make it this year so it gives us mere mortals a fighting chance.

All welcome. It would help if I had some idea of numbers. Bring earplugs just in case there are repairs on the railway line.

I won't be able to attend.

I was looking forward to it even though it's another long trip.

Don't panic. Check the FB page, all of your mates are going to be there.

Depends on the weather and the alcohol. If it's damp, the aching hips might force me home.

I expect one of your mates will let you stay in their vanette if the weather turns Welsh.
