well done mick ,i dont think i would have done a trip like that on my own,and you must of found a good engine to be that reliable,and hard luck Doug better luck next time,

to be honest Kieth , when your in these back water type countries , all they know is these old engines , every small hamlet seems to have a guy who can fix and repair anything , they might never of seen a big single rotax before , but that type of engine and that sort of carb set up is second nature to them ,twmtomos1 wrote:would you of liked to of done the trip on a diffrent bike ?

My engine i rebuilt myself , then spent a few months running around including doing the dragon on it, just to gain that confidence with it ,,
