Yorkshire Dales Weekend in July

Re: Yorkshire Dales Weekend in July
It's an open book, no need to confirm numbers or anything like that. If you want to come just book yourself onto the campsite and turn up. Tell them you are with the club and they'll put us all together. You could even turn up Saturday morning if you like, so long as you're there before 10. We will need to sort our own breakfast. I've got space booked for the evening meals so we all pay for our own beers and meals. Keep it simple.

I will be working all weekend but will try and pop down in the evening and have a meet up if someone can pm the location ...that's provided minters magic works and I get it back together in time !

As mentioned on page one, the campsite is the Bainbridge Ings just outside Hawes (DL8 3NU). I've booked a table at the Wensleydale Pantry for Friday and Saturday's evening meal but she would like numbers confirming. The Wensleydale Pantry is upstairs above the shops about 100yds down from the Market Hall opposite the Crown Hotel (DL8 3QX).

Re: Yorkshire Dales Weekend in July
I'd be interested in doing this but I'm going to check with the boss that I'll be allowed out to play.
I'll have to trailer the bike up as I've no idea if she'd make the 300 miles each way.
Cheers

Nothing wrong with that, many of us do. Though I do it just to make sure I can still get home if I damage it (or myself!)

Re: Yorkshire Dales Weekend in July
That's a good point about damaging myself. It's entirely possible that'll happen to.
I've been given the go ahead by the boss so I'll book the campsite tomorrow.
Not entirely sure what to expect as I've never done this before. Should be ok off road with my pre65 scrambling experience.

My MT said it would like to join you all. So that means I have to go too.

Pre 65 Scrambler experience puts you at the top of the list Dan. Rest assured, if I can ride it, anyone can. There are a few loose rock nadgery bits but nothing beyond the ability of an MT.
Phil, glad you can join us. Bring oxygen, it's a long way north but I promise it will be worth it.
