Nearly another year passes and i find myself logging in from a work trip to Brazil. Bike is still in the same space in the workshop......

One day i'll finish it.

This is not good... another 2 years and no more progress. I thought about selling the bike a while ago but i need to get it finished, ride it and enjoy it. It's pretty much all my own work that has got it this far.

This thread started in early 2010! Does Stuart get a prize for the longest rebuild ever?

Nah, the longest rebuilds are still in bits. One long time forum member told me he had a Canam in bits which he stored in his loft- that was about 10 years ago, it's probably still there

You could always bring it to us to finish Stuart - it wouldn't be the first project we have had to finish off for folk with limited spare time on their hands..

Being camouflaged it wasn't too easy to find but there she was tucked away in the garage..

Getting the Laverda recommissioned and back on the road is the first task, free tax and no mot means minimum cost involved.

At least you've got your priorities right. Well done.
