Grewelthorpe 2017
Doing a basic camping weekend next May 5/6 and 7th, it has a old roundhouse built with a fire pit inside. Doing stew and dumplings for Friday tea, bacon buttys on Saturday and Sunday morning, hog roast Saturday dinner and local butchers sausages and burgers for night time. ( cook these yourself over the fire ) . I will have coffee and tea during the day help yourself and lager, beer and Guinness at a £1 a can. Total price is £28 for the weekend. Deposit of £10 required as I need to limit spaces and order the pig / food etc. No showers on site and toilets are compost ones!. Done this for last 2 yrs and all welcome even in cars.

I'm up for that. Beautiful part of the world. What happens during the day/over the weekend?

I've changed the fire to smokeless coals as you get smoked out. I have 24 booked in looking at a max of 40 to 45. Some slept in the roundhouse as the fire keeps going all the time.

Sounds like a good weekend. I don't think I can make it, but I'm sure there will be some MTs turning up.
