As much as I would like to go in the Hard group and show you how its done Stu...
Think I had better stick with the chilled out Easy group seeing as I am still recovering from a knee operation.

***Medium Lanes***
All those doing medium lanes:
I am not going to be at the Scout Hut (until maybe Saturday evening).
Not sure if Pirate has communicated but I shall meet you all at the Rest a while Café in Keynsham @ 10:30 (this will take approx 1hr from the scout hut) postcode BS31 2AA.
Pirate will provide direction on the morning.
Planning for about 6 hours on the lanes including a lunch stop and sending you back to Parkend about 4:30/ 5ish.
Mandatory equipment for all riders
Motorcycle (It doesn't have too be green - Mine certainly isn't)
Helmet
Other protective equipment - up to you really depends how likely you feel you are to fall off and how much you reckon it'll hurt
Some tools - if you feel like it, however I'm not planning on fixing your bike for you - in reality any one who's seen me try and fix things probably doesn't want me too
Camera - you are duty bound if you fall off to remain under you bike until photos have been taken and the rest of the group is duty bound not to help you until they have take a photo.
Sense of humour - Those arriving with out this will be sent back to the scout hut to do alternative activities.
*** Disclaimer - I am not being paid for this and I am neither a professional guide or motorcycle instructor, I am an idiot who knows a few green lanes. Those who choose to follow me do so at their own risk and should treat every lane as though they are following some one without any clue in the world what he is doing***

Re: Wye Valley Groups and payment.
Hard lanes.
Those of you who have been before know what to expect, it's a "hurt me plenty" kinda attitude towards the day, we will start off with some medium routes around the usual trails, before taking a look at the devils staircase, and lime kiln steps, after that if your still in one piece then maybe a trip to pant glas steps, and/or a trip over the old severn bridge for some deep water crossings. If anyone is unsure of themselves or their bike then there will always be an opt out route.
Please equip your bikes with any spares and tools you think you may need, some enthusiasm, large testes, and plenty of luck!
God bless you all..........your gonna need it!
