Mt500 pillion pegs

Post by Canoe man » Sat Oct 01, 2016 2:37 pm

Hello I need so info about pillion pegs for my MT500 having never seen any.
What do the originals (NR004) look like?
Where do you fit them?
Has anyone got any pics?
Is the somebody out there sheltering a pair that they don't need or does anyone make new ones?

I await the torrent of replies.

Flat bar with three holes drilled into it, universal pillion pegs, bolt to the flat plate in the frame where the swingarm spindle is (some frames already have two spare holes here) half an hour to seven hours depending upon how handy you are job done.

Thanks for replies so far.
Had a look at frame again defenatly no holes for anything.
Have read about the swing arm option not sure it's the best option.
Pics would really help or is it shown on any drawings.

thanks for that.

how do you do that, i've tried reducing size etc, just gives me a NO, TO BIG.

cheers

George

anyway the right hand side one is slightly different, as no cut out for the side stand and spring.
holes will have to be drilled and tapped, in frame, if not already there.

Hi mate, go to your photobucket account, click on a picture and when it's the only one on the screen (ie single picture not gallery or grid view or whatever they call it) somewhere on the page ( normally on the righthand side I think) you should see img code copy this and just paste it into your post and picture will appear as if by magic when you post.
.......if any of that made sense that is.
For the foot peg picture it looks like this I've taken one of these off the beginning [ and one of these of the end ] so you can see it

Where the arrow is pointing there is a box with img next to it double click or right click in the box and when it is highlighted select the copy option the double click or right click in the post you are writing and select the paste option and a load of gobbledygook will be added then just click submit post
