Phil and myself plan on traveling down to Harwich on the Friday midday, we plane to go via Birmingham M6 to M1 J19 then A14 to Cambridge where we plan to call in at The Eagle Pub, watering hole for the 'Few' during the WW2, the ceiling is cover with names and ditto's of the brave crews that went there. From Cambridge the A1017 Colchester - A120 Harwich. We plan on getting there around 6.30 - 7.00pm, Their is a Pub/Eating establishment just before the Port 'The Mayflower', something to eat and drink leaving around 9.30pm for the Ferry check in 10.00pm.

That would be great Brian, where ever suites you, which way will you becoming down, if down the M6 looking at the map Corley services between J3A - 3, or the M1 J19 start of A14, or M42 services as before, which ever best for you.

Both myself and Stuart have booked the day off. We are planning a leisurely ride to the port so we could meet you on the Way?

That's what we thought no rush, the A14 on google sat looks pretty boring dual carriage way just a few laybys , not sure if they have choke & pukes set up on them for truck stops, that's why we thought about Cambridge for a stop. Would be great Grant to meet up on route, see where suits you

Well for us as the crow flys we would ride through Cambridgeshire so that looks very doable and an ideal stop off.

Can you let me know the pub post code please.
