I've just repaired another puncture on the rear wheel. This time I got the MT Manual up on the laptop and did exactly as in the book and I managed to do the whole job in about an hour, apart from final tightening which I'll do after I've tested the pressure again after a cup of tea and a biscuit. This time it was my fault as the rim lock is the bit that managed to cut 4 holes into the tube, I must have refitted it wrong. What doesn't kill me .... :-)

Hopefully it will be all OK and Monday morning I will be at Oakdene :-)

I left home at 7.30, went to Stop 24 services to collect some cash and the bike wasn't running too well despite me putting on a Rexs Speedshop Coil and Plug lead on last night. I joined the motorway heading towards Ashford and it was running like a dumper truck so I decided that I'd come off at Jct 10 and go home. I was riding on the hard shoulder as top speed was about 40 MPH when I ran over something and I heard the "PoP" and before I could evacuate my bowels the bike was wobbling with the old "That's flat" feeling. As it was so close to home My wife brought a trailer out and we loaded it up. We decided that Breakfast at the Airport Café on the A20 was in order, so at least I got my cooked breakfast.

I'm sorry I didn't make it chaps :-( I hope you all had a good day.

Here you go guys, the photos that were taken as we turned up.
They're asking ÂŁ15 for a digital copy of each photograph!! If you want proper photos of you and the bike I'll bring my nice camera to the next meet ;)

This was a good day out, thanks for the company. Sorry you couldn't join us 'arry, better luck next time!

Laurence - those photos look like they just need a bit of touching up in photoshop if you're handy at that sort of thing. Don't think I'll bother with mine :?
