Not wishing to offend anyone but personally I wasn't over impressed with the venue. I thought that a good supply of running hot water and a shower block would be the least we should expect. Surely there are such campsites in the area?

Thanks to all who attended and dug in with chores etc, the weather was very kind to us.
On opening the trailer we found evidence of mice, later when emptying it I saw a mouse run it into the marquee. When I got home I found another in my van, must have come from the flag pole/ bag I took home. That mouse went to ground behind all my van racking so will probably live and die there. At the bottom of my garden I emptied out the flag pole assy and 2 more of the little feckers legged it across the lawn! So, sadly we wrecked a perfectly happy family this weekend, bloody Welsh mice now running round Hampshire.
At least we had a great time.

Thanks folks!

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Many thanks to all concerned in organising the 'Big Meet'
I had a great time and as a newbie, was made to feel very welcome. It was good to put faces to names, (although Ive forgotton most of the names  ) and the mess tent was a very welcome surprise. (I'm used to spending M/C camping weekends eating burgers and 'pot garbage')

And the iceing on the cake was that the bike ran well all weekend and even started when asked (kicked). I apoligise if you got a taste of oil while following me on the ride-out, yes she burns a bit.... ;)

Once again many thanks, hopefully see you at the next 'do'

Cheers

Thanks for a great event. The boys on the food did a terrific job, very much appreciated.

The shop did a roaring trade and for some reason my clothes and stock smell of wood smoke.....

I thought my shower and toilet were terrific.........

Many thanks to Keith, Alan, Dave, Jonathan and all the others that did their bit to make it run well over the weekend. We had enough food not to require all the livestock that had been nurtured over the winter, I hope Simon's family are into small furry pets ;)

Good to see Mel back in his shopping role, plenty of everything (except sugar which neither of us use !)

I hope you didn't have issues with the finances Ian, that's one of those tasks that I assume is going well when your looking relaxed.
