SMCC Tour of Man – All Terrain Rally 24th – 25th September

The Tour of Mann returns for 2016 and again forms a round of the 2016 All Terrain Rally Championship.

The event is run to the ACU All Terrain Rally regulations and is open for road legal enduro bikes, trail bikes, as well as larger capacity adventure bikes and faired “rally bikes”.

JURISDICTION
Held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the Enduroregulations, All Terrain Rally Regulations
and these Southern Motor Cycle Club Supplementary regulations. And any final instructions issued.

TYPE OF EVENT
A Rally suitable for Trail and Enduro Motorcycles. Results will be decided over a
number of Special Stages timed to the second. The event will be run over two days
and only two day entry is permitted (no single day entries accepted). A time card will
be issued to each rider which must be adhered to at all times, there will be no early
start at each completion of a lap.

Times and start order will be notified to riders along with the Final instructions and displayed
on the notice board on the two days. The time card must be handed in at the end of each day
or if the rider decides to retire early, break down or is unable to continue. This will give
accountability for every rider and the officials will have a record that every rider is safe and
not lost or broken down.

Looks like a great event and I love an excuse to go to the IOM.
Unfortunately my knee op is due around then.
