From a club perspective, I always oppose this. There are limited 350 'saddles'/ 'engine shoes' out there, just one per frame, maybe a couple of spares BUT once they are gone, we will in the future be having frames but no shoes...Id much rather promote working with what you have. Yes i never gave that much thought really Simon, but now it's come up you are right ,it would of been more conservationist to of converted the original engine carrier,
The wiring loom is the next nightmare to get my head around, i've inherited a few alterations i need to work out , and i'm gona do a few of my own ,
