the engine is painted in same paint as tank up to now not discoloured.

nice one Dave ,liking the green engine , i bet that stays on as long as any of the bar b q , or heat proof rattle cans will ,
what end can are you using with that 604 lump ?

yes Mick it copes with the 604 fine ,i fitted it purposely as i wanted a quiet ride with this bike [its got to be restricting it a bit i think the 350 headers alone will] but on the plus side it acts as a governor to keep the bike a reliable tourer,[hoping to do some European trips on this bike].

The silencer is very restrictive Dave, If you come to the Northants meet I'll have my 604 Armstrong MX bike this year - you'll see how restrictive the exhaust feels once youve had a go on the full fat version! I do a road legal silencer for the 604 which improves performance no end..
