i'm totally ready in the clothing department , spent a small fortune on military arctic gear , i aint gona freeze
mind you it hasn't turned up yet, it's probably summer gear with the sleeves rolled down
just need to ready the mt for the epic trip, long way on your own gota think of every eventuality , best off to follow a QMS 4 tonna

I am a lot fitter now for the DR after my car accident near Crawley. Just need to fit a new tap on the tank on my MT 350 to replace the leaky pattern one, then get it MOT'd.

i've got a deadly dose of manflu
but at least i'm getting it out of the way early,, so i'll be match fit for the dragon

Got a new tent, and and also a tarp for extra cover. I now need to sort out the rest of my kit

I just want to point out that the Dragon rally does make a profit but only a small one.

No club member gets paid or makes any money out of the rally at £ 20 a ticket we just broke even last year that's what it's gone up

Do the maths 1200 tickets at £20

Public liability insurance, Marquee hire,first aid cover,van hire,gas bottle hire, generator hire,band,lighting,tables,JCB hire to build the roads in.Water butt hire, cost of badges,sticker,coasters,whiskey 2 x chocolate bars,soup,bread roll bin bags, skips toilets
Hard core for the roads, Terran road building cloth. And loads of other stuff that slip my mind.

Any money made goes back in to the club or is given to charity including Air ambulance, scouts RNLI, local junior football clubs,

Go to the rally then sell your badge and goody bag on eBay for more than the cost of the original ticket if you want
