This needs a bump. 2016 is nearly here. Should we be coming to some sort of decision on this? Bunker?
To be honest, I think if we wait for a consensus it will take til doomsday. I propose that Bunker / Committee make a decision then all the rank and file will fall in line.
It doesn't matter to me where it is, I'll still make the effort for a good weekend and I'm pretty sure those that are interested will do the same.

Even though it galls me to agree with a Yorkshireman, I think he's right. Democracy ain't all it's cracked up to be. Tell them where and when, if they don't like it or it's not convenient for them they can always go somewhere else for the weekend.

I agree with Minter although we can't wait forever.
Think we all agree it has to be central
Be nice to do a ride out at some point during the weekend.
As for venue let's put a poll up. A simple
Stafford based show or other Biker show or Military style show. We could then look for venues/ideas based on the results.

The problem we have is that rather a large number of people don't actually want to pay for anything which then becomes restrictive. We still have the option of Spanhoe and then going onto do something from their at a minimal donation.

Otherwise I am happy to go with the flow. If I am given a list of options I will set up a poll.

Steve is right, cost has to be taken into consideration although Stafford has always cost. No point in looking at things that will increase that cost significantly.

according to ordinance survey this is the centre of Britain.Centre of Great Britain – the computer calculation resulted in a location 7 km north west of Dunsop Bridge, Lancashire, by Whitendale Hanging Stones on Brennard Farm in the Forest of Bowland (SD 64188.3, 56541.43).
hope this helps [guessing it dont]
