I thought I saw mention of access to the hanger last time you posted or was I misreading it as that would be ideal for parking the bike and drying gear etc?
It's been a bit of an club thing for the lunatics to tough it out in tents. As they years have gone by a lot of people migrated to camper vans and caravans but there has never been a demand for pub lodgings. There are plenty of options around me and If there was call I would inquire. However I doubt there would be any uptake!
We will have access to my hanger but there is no chance I am sticking my aircraft outside for bikes to be parked in there!
Like I said, what we have offered at the airfield is basic and you will basically have access to the hose pipe at the top and the rental of a chemical toilet. This the remnants of a WW2 airfield where operation market garden was launched from. It's in the middle of nowhere without a single light on the airfield or for a couple of miles around. So it will require us to set up a camp with hopefully the club marquis and kitchen and generator and go from there. But at least it's flat and no chance of getting stuck as the space as served by the hard runway and taxi way.
If people want a bit more luxury then the proper campsite is the choice as that's got heated toilets and showers etc.
