You need to think about who you're travelling with mate. The last time Laurence teamed up with someone for a 'little green laning' he broke his mates wrist. How are you going to get home on the bike if he manages to injure you?

At last years Wye valley bash I needed someone to pump my tyres up after punctures, as long as your legs are working you'll be more than welcome to 'help' me. I assume your other wrist is able to throw beer down your neck ?Jooles wrote: Might not be able to do to much with my wrist though, Lardy....
You thought you'd get away with it ?Laurence wrote: I wondered when this would come up! What if I promise to go easy this time
You pair will be expert swearers after being cooped up in a van with Mick for two hours. He can almost swear as much as me.

Re: Wye valley 10/11 October.
Sorry chaps, permission has been refused for me to come as it's my daughters birthday that weekend.
who ever said children bring happiness.....
and I was sooo looking forward to help Lardy search for the scouts in the middle of the night. I will have to watch "Deliverance" instead. Maybe Laurence can squeal like a pig for him...
Either change the date, or I will have to wait for the next get-together!

Re: Wye valley 2-4 October.
Just spoken to Franc, he's confirmed the date as the weekend before. The new date is 3/4 October at http://therisingsuninn.biz/about-us/where-we-are/. Franc is going to try and get on here to finalise everything. I'm sorry if the date change has inconvenienced any of you, I promise to never get involved organising again.

Ok.. onto the serious stuff..
Franc has text me regarding a new venue as the scout hut is fully booked..
This is the link.. http://therisingsuninn.biz/
Franc also goes on to say that there is free camping, large function room, some limited accomodation, Rugby will be on the tv and camper vans will be no problem.
Its about a mile away from the scout hut so a breakfast butty at the mountain bike shop before we set off on the easy trails..
I'll see if Franc can post any more info but the website and pub looks good...

Brilliant work lads. Date works better as well.
Will be able to watch England beat Australia on the tv.
And I will put my name down for any bunk available so I don't have to bother with the tent.

Not for me. Make sure you get plenty of photos, even better drag Madstu along as he's a bit good with the old video editing stuff.arceye wrote: Date works better as well.

Hi guys, sorry for not being able to post on here before. Having a tech nightmare.
I hope the venue will be ok for you guys, I had very limited options.
I have a large homemade wood burner I'm hoping to bring for the evening, and will warn the bike hit for Saturday morning.
How many should I tell them to expect?
