Re: Nut and Bolt Rebuild on Emma
Ideally a full system, that end can looks great.
I have a lovely shiny stainless silencer that chokes the 500 engine, so I'm looking for something that lets it breathe as well as (or better than) the standard silencer.
Of course the cost is important - I got a company to do a prototype system for me and even in mild steel it was not as cheap as getting one from force or KL (but not as expensive as a gazelle)!

Re: Nut and Bolt Rebuild on Emma
Craig am I right in saying thats a CCM Remus exhaust?
If so I have one that I can pass on.
Which reminds me of the images I should have passed on an age ago showing the bodywork you were interested in for this project.
Been literally out the loop for some time.
All the best

Re: Nut and Bolt Rebuild on Emma
that is correct
the can is a remus standard can for the ccm
this is a larger boar system for the 604 motor
it can be made for the same boar as the 350/500 oem
i dont know what the price of the kl headers and center section in SS comes in at
but im sure it would let the 500 breath more with the larger boar
the rear cans can be picked up quite cheap though
I havnt looked into the cans in detail yet
I am just trying to get this exhaust system to the point i can supply it so you can choose a rear can that will slip on
it is very close now and there is already 2 other members getting them for there 604's
it was one of the options to get the mild steel done to make it cheaper but it is only a few shekles cheaper and wont last as long
