now that one is an oddity. an mt500 with harley sidepanels that look like armstrong panels.
no doubt someone will be along to clarify. ;)

From what I understand when the yanks bought Armstrong they started producing them as Harley until the 350 came out.

No no no no. When HD bought the rights, they still had to provide spares to the British Army for the existing bikes. They were not allowed to use the Armstrong name but still had to provide side panels to replace lost ones. Rather than provide blank ones, they were happy to have HD on them.

Thank you for that that's the bike but i put a standard exhaust on and the bags new mudguard handle bars too but sadly i work a tata steel and 785 people have to go so a 2 or 3 of my bikes have to go for naw chin up tho
