Just wondering guys, what happens with the Stafford event with regards the MTRIDERS club, is it just as many of us as can be turn up, or is there a max number of camping spaces?

I don't think there's any problem with space Mick, we've had motor-homes, vans, trailers, tents and still had space for more.
Official club events are organised where we all chip in for the food, booze, camping and entry into the event for the full weekend. This year was Ă‚ÂŁ50 all-in but we'll have to wait til nearer the time to see if that price changes for 2015.

Just to answer Surfermick's post and for general interest ,
For the last 2 years we have had a nice large corner plot at Stafford for our display area, Marquee and our bikes, tents, vans/campers and trailers , and we aim to get the same spot again in 2015. It is up to the event managers at Stafford ultimately where they put us , but that's what we ask for . The show will be 24-26 April 2015 so that's the date to pencil in diaries.
From memory we have had between 40 and 50 members attending each year over the last few years . We have not had to turn any members away so anyone who has wanted to come has got a place . We put about a dozen bikes on display to the public, an assortment of MT500, MT350 of different colours and conditions so a variation.

We will get more info out on the forum early next year to confirm for definite what is happening , around February/March and we will start an attendance list and confirm price . It is a good friendly social event ,and loads to see at the show

hope that helps

The first couple of times we went we were limited on numbers. We were allocated a relatively small area. I recall one chap turned up and was quietly building an MT. I think it was blue. No prizes for guessing who that was....

Not seen a blue one, heard about a red one but think it's all smoke. Perhaps I'll try looking out of the right side!!
