Re: From the ashes
I have split the caliper with the help of a little heat. I have cleaned it up and replaced all of the seals.
Next was the rear master cylinder and the other caliper.
New seals, brake switch and banjo. I have also got some new stainless brake hose to fit.

Well done. At this rate you are going to have it ready for next years Exeter trail.

Re: From the ashes
Nearly there, got a few problems to sort out. I have fitted the electrics and was hoping that all would be well except for the odd bulb etc, but have no power to anything, I will post questions in correct topic.
The back brake has been bled and seems fine. The front is a pig, don't know why. I have left it tonight with the lever tied back and I will have a read up on it.

Therapeutic... Stories like this make me happy! If this is possible, everything is possible. Hopefully you can get the MT out for a ride soon.

It seems to be one step forward two steps back but it's 99% complete and engine running. I have got a bit of tweaking to do and questions to ask, hopefully I will have time this weekend to get ready for its MOT.

as has been mentioned before by more illustrious members than i.
check out the lever adjuster screw isnt screwed in too far. this would prevent the master cylinder from returning fully.

Re: From the ashes
Thanks for the tip Brian. I was initially happy with the front brake as it stops the wheel from moving however the lever feels like my lever on my drum brakes/cable on the BSA. I tried to bleed it again but seemed to make it worst, the brake still works though.
Here it is as of today, still a few things to fettle.
