I have heard fantastic reports regarding the bunkhouse and it's facilities, well done Dave for sorting that.

If I can't get my motorhome there next year then I will either bunk or camp to join in with the club and it's social event.
Sorry mate, not going to get into a pissing contest with you on this. People attend for different reasons. Some want to enjoy communal living and share a room with farting belching blokes. Some want to camp, some want to vanp. I don't force my choices of accommodation on you and don't expect you to belittle me by not embracing yours. I have no intention of ever camping or living in a bunkhouse. I tagged this onto the end of a weeks holiday with my wife and the dog.... The site was totally unsuitable for our needs or access requirements so we had no choice but to go elsewhere.

As for choice of bikes, as we were unable to attend the MT event due to the site being unsuitable and has to make our own arrangements it matters little what bikes we used. I don't see any comments being made about Geoffs non MT? I also don't see any negative comments being made when Chisler rides his Can Am at MT events.

Bugger, I knew I forgot something. Yes please. Sorry about that!! Pirate has kindly booked my regular van friendly spot at Wye so at least we will be in the same location...

Thanks to everyone who made this event possible. Dave and Andy we love you both, unconditionally ! :D
It was a bit of an effort getting Minter in and I will be sending an invoice for levelling your bunk.
But then where do you draw the limit ? What if we all want to bring John McPint size motorhomes ?
The Bunkhouse was superb though, you will NOT find a better one.
Ok, the rain was persistant but we were due it after a couple of dry years.
There may have been a lack of drinking but the Cheese and Port has really stepped up a level.
I have never seen so many types of cheese and quality of Port !! 8-)
Sadly Mad Stu went for quantity with cheap home brand. Must try harder...
The Trials event was very professionally run and was great fun if you are any good at riding MT's.
At least the rain and Yoof made Gary work hard for his Win. Next year boy. ;)
Don't think anybody noticed Number 6 gain a few pounds and suddenly become a riding god after an earlier retirement.
One small criticism of the Ride Outs.
We need to know Who is in which group before the day and the Group leader needs to make sure all his riders are ready when they set off... Everyone should be given a time to be ready. :?
Oh, and make sure tail end Charlie keeps everyone together.
The Rides seemed to go well.
Unfortunately I had a fall and managed to break a few bits so had to limp back to base early on for repairs.
I spent an enjoyable afternoon with the 2 Geoff's fixing our bikes until everyone returned with big smiles and tales of daring exploits ! :D
I am sure we were all well behaved and I didn't see anyone tearing up the driveway as one of the neighbours had accused.
Sorry not to say goodbye but I was away by 6am.
Great to see the old faces and meet new ones. :D
Whats next ? Ah, Wye Valley and the " Devils Staircase "...

Well that was a wet Friday,
First of all may I thank everyone who attended this year, despite the rain,
Thanks to Ian our club stalwart for sorting the finances out and smoothing the waters in so many different ways.
Also thanks to Graham Taylor from Colwyn Bay motorcycle club for setting up the trials
on the Friday very professionally done,
We could put this on as a stand alone event and I will gauge the interest on a separate thread
Steve Lister for travelling 90 miles back and forth with the food to feed the hungry multitude, Also Collette the caterer who supplied the food at a very reasonable price in
my view.
The kitchen bitches who did us proud and everyone who mucked in on the Sunday to help clean up.
The lads from CMCC who guided the Fast group on the Saturday, Next year maybe they said you might want to go a bit faster ;)
Due to long standing work commitments I was only supposed to sort the food out for the
Friday and the trials event but it didn't work out like that and many thanks to the other members of the committee who stepped in at the last minute Simon included
Also Dave for finding a smashing venue
I couldn't and didn't have the time to sort out groups before the event but we all have our day jobs,
The access to the bunkhouse was not ideal but everyone else managed to get in and the was a lay by not far from the bunkhouse that could accommodate a mobile home.
And I get that not everyone wants to share a bunkhouse with 30 farting snoring men
Also looking at the pictures maybe if Steve was driving and not his Mrs he might of got in
Thanks to everyone for your good humour jokes table football skills and all round good sense of fun
See you all next year
Andy

I did look at that, unfortunately you can't just park up in a lay-by and sleep loads of bylaws prohibit it.

And don't be so cheeky about my wives driving!!!!
