:lol: I'd love to tag along for the ride if i wasn't so busy! We fitted new seals and timing belt when we did the clutch. Reground bottom pulley was also fitted and both pulleys located and torqued correctly. The dayco belt is good for 2 years or 20,000 km. A spare belt does not take up much room if you wanted to take a spare.. :D

If you take one you know you won't need it and if you don't take one then you know what will fail, same with the clutch cable.

Hi "Minter" when you say re-ground bottom pulley how much did you grind off ? i take it you mean where the pulley seals around the oil seal ? Just asking as i get through several seals a year because it looks a bit rough where the seal fits cheers Nige.
