I put the number plate and headlight on it off 'blue' and ran it in riding to Trowbridge and back!

The first race got off to a good start then on the second lap it felt like it was seizing up.. I pulled over only to find the back brake adjuster had wound on! The rear hub was smokin!
Second race got off to a good start too but my chain came off - i wasnt running a tensioner with my non o ring chain!
Sunday i was ready for action with my chain guide fitted and a new o ring chain. I'd also fitted a bigger main jet in the Mikuni flatslide. Had a really good start and a cracking race dicing with my old mate Hodge. We finished mid pack, not sure of results yet though but not bad for old army trail bikes up against the best twinshock mxers of the 80's!
Second race was also great fun with the bike running faultlessly.. I tried a second gear start which wasnt so good as its a bit taller than a normal second gear in a standard Rotax.
I was also running fully synthetic racing oil, which also performed faultlessly, no slipping or squeeling clutches either so well happy with that..
After all the advice on the forum this could reopen the subject...
