Ah. "Special" crank, 604 head, 32mm headers, new (non-standard) piston; I somehow just assumed that it had been bored and stroked.

CC doesnt matter this weekend anything goes!

Heres this evenings progress... should get it finished tomorrow and loaded on the van.. first test run will be Sat morning free paractice!

Are you going to stick it on a dyno? would love to know how much BHP it's kicking out. Have you measured the compression?

Cheers Russ will do, not measured compression yet, was only discussing this with yoof yesterday. Was going to rolling road it tomorrow but need to get to farleigh anmd get set up..
If it survives farleigh i'll get ill rolling roaded after, be interesting what the pipe help produce..

Is that the prototype for the pipe you're thinking of producing? Looks good :)

if it works well it will form the basis of the big bore system. There is a reason the headers are of different lengths.. Exhaust chap reckons its to help the exhaust pulses reach the collector at differnt times which help scavange the cylinder of exhaust gasses. It certainly responds well when blipping the throttle. This theory would not work well on multi cylinder engines... apparently!

Proof will be in the riding! If it works you may see it appear on my blue traily Armstrong and the Sportax shop!
