a bit more progress on the dakar/supermoto/adventure bike thingy.
made a 18 inch front wheel out of ccm back and front wheels ,trying colours on fairing,got pannier boxes to fit [had to space top bracket to clear fairing].

Wow that's amazing - I really like it! What's the fairing from? Looks KTM-ish to me. I really like the Dakar look...

How have you done the dash? Is the original behind it or have you made one?

thanks colin, the dash is a chopping board it has a ccm speedo but i will change this to a digital one i think ,the cable doesn't reach and it won't be calibrated now with wheel diameter also want to add sat nav and 12v charger.

yes derrick, the looks are a bit love/ hate but it is function over form and does work well, very little buffeting at 3/4 throttle in top gear 17 tooth sprocket [whatever that equates to] no speedo yet ,of course not tested on the highway. ;)

having come back from the stafford meet with renewed enthusiasm, i set about my 604 with the spanners.
just got my frame back from the sand blasters with a fresh coat of primer.

i knew that verandah would come in handy lol ,i intend to fit a twin silencer as on my off roader which is why ive not painted the back bit yet,[hope its not too loud with the bigger motor], dave.
