Hi...i would be interested in a meet up around a visit to the Plain...assuming I have not missed it.... as I have never been before....I'll keep watching but do drop me a line if I miss the post. I am recovering from a bit of an off in Norfolk just now but hope to have me and the MT back on (off) the tarmac soon.

You wont find the Plain as taxing as an MCC trial. :D

I thought it might be fun to meet up with a few people from the club on a bimble.

Its nothing serious. I have a few bruises but also have damaged my right arm at the elbow. They can't see any breaks but I am going to the fracture clinic tomorrow to get it checked properly at A&E's suggestion as apparently there are other signs of a fracture ...So. a none too taxing bimble may well suit me.

I was on a Herts TRF 240 mile round trip from Herts to the Norfolk coast and back and trying to keep up with some experienced guys on some modern stuff.....didn't see the series of very big scoops in front of me until I was right on them at 25 -40 mph (it had been a fast forest track)...own fault! I had lost sight of the others in front of me otherwise I would have had some warning. Bike is Ok apart from headlight and black out switch and front indicator and a slightly bent rack......Hopefully a couple of weeks and I'll be able to ride again ...know more tomorrow. Thanks for asking. :)

Glad I chanced a look at this thread again as it's migrated from being about Poole bike night to being about a possible bimble on Salisbury plain. I would love to come along to a Salisbury plain outing of a weekend, and so might a few others if they knew about it. Why not start another thread? Some who might fancy a bimble on the plain might not even look at this thread rightly thinking it's about an evening meet in Poole. Not moaning, only saying... :)
