Anyone interested in wheel balancing?

I've been doing my own for a couple of years now and was surprised at how bad many MT wheels are

That would be very useful. With people taking out the rim-locks and changing their own inner tubes I shoulld think few are balanced. Might be OK of off-road, but will affect the time on tarmac.

Does your knowledge go to checking and adjusting spokes? If not, is there someone able to cover that?

I do spokes as well, providing they're not completely corroded and won't budge

All part of tweaking a wheel really

Other item I check is the welded joint on rims. About 50% of my wheels showed signs of this joint starting to open up. This can be fixed by a good TIG welder fairly easily.

I might have space to bring three or four 120/80/18 unused rear T63 tyres . £45 each if interested. Cheers. John.

If you've not been to Stafford before , it really is a very good friendly social weekend , and we are a very informal welcoming group, everyone chats to everyone else, bring a sense of humour and you'll be fine . Good cooked meals and drinks included , there's loads to see (and buy) at the show , and just have a relaxed weekend away.

Looking forward to it, hope the sun keeps shining
