1km=0.621miles

200km x 0.621= 124.2 miles covered

1ltr=0.219 imp gallon

11.5 ltrs x 0.219 = 2.51 gallons used

miles covered ÷ fuel used

124.2 ÷ 2.51 = 49.7211

49.7 mpg

Currently working on a contract near Trawsfynydd, will be looking to taking my MT soon, so will be doing some bimbling in the week to find some doable routes.

There's a lovely mountain track that runs from Creggegen lakes, (about 4 miles west of Dolgellau in the foothills of Cader Idris) over to Llanegryn. The ride is about 7 miles. It's called Ffordd Ddu (black Road). If the weather's good, the views over Barmouth bridge to cardigan bay are gorgeous. Also you can ride over Barmouth rail bridge still to make it a nice round trip.... It's a beautiful part of mid Wales....
