That's a nice piece of branding on the cylinder head Gary. I did say you should have stainless signature plate like the hand built merc engine.

Suddenly I feel the pressure ramping up ...if the lump is that pretty I'd better do a half decent job on the rest of it ;)

The head is only 'plonked' on at the mo for effect and a photo - Ive the valves etc to fit yet.. Watch this space!!

All back together and looking nice! All ready fro a run up on the test bed once Moose has heard his running!

This motor was almost destined for scrap, so many bits were worn out or missing but thanks to Nick it will now live on for a good few years!!

Fabulous work Gary - thank you very much indeed!
I love the finish on the engine - gold fixings look great, as does the sportax branding, and you've done a great job of recording progress on here too.
I'll pm you re possible times to come over .... can't wait to hear her springing back to life :D

Both electric and kickstarters tested and it fires up straight the way!...
