i believe he kept his stove fuel in one of the tubes. he had some good ideas for storage.

I do recall the need for a high speed stop one time when a wedged-in storage tube bounced down the road. So make sure these items are secured by something more than friction

Something DSG said just before he left was that he had doubled up the electrics on the bike in case of breakdown

I never got a chance to ask him about that unfortunately

Is there any sign of what he did?

he always doubled up on the cables...clutch,throttle etc.
