Heres another pic Nick and dimensions....

Manifold is ID 43mm tapering down to 39mm where it meets the engine

The rubber is 49mm ID both sides..

Image

As for cost, not cheap but cheaper than an OEM one... £75 including the rubber and jubilees and inc postage..

What software are you using and how many probes do you use?? I wouldn't mind making/investing in the probes but the software I haven't a clue. I have a good quality Pico scope as well as a Lab scope and the usual tuning tools. I would like to try fitting fuel injection on my standard 350. However at the same time I don't really want to re-invent the wheel. So any advice gratefully received, and of course I'm happy to share any knowledge I gain with all :-)

Ta,
The software is Tunerstudio and has a free version that im using at the moment which seems perfect for me.
The only sensors you need are oil temp, airbox air temp, lambda/o2 sensor, throttle poss sensor and you can also use a manifold air pressure sensor but its not necessary. Then to help with the tuning you use a co2 sensor up the exhaust. I can also analyse and tune the engine from my smart phone (bluetooth) with a free app and also log details while I run the bike to give feedback.
Been busy recently so haven't made much progress.

I've started playing around with various sensors.

I really like the Innovate range of products http://www.innovatemotorsports.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Have a look at their LM-2 data logger and the free Logworks software. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They go out of their way to make it easy to connect various sensors. I'm about to build a sniffer probe for measuring AFR on a MT exhaust based on this design

Im going to fit a wideband lambda sensor that will give me an AFR reading accurate to 0.1
I can also data log with it through the microsquirt ecu so I will get perfect fuelling throughout the rev range and loading.

Cheers Gary but im going to have a go at making my own manifold.
Finally got the lathe fitted in the garage and Iv got some ally tubing and plate of the correct thickness.
So will be machining then tig welding it.

No probs Nick, these are billet and probably cost a fortune to produce..

Made some progress this evening and made an inlet manifold.

Yep I don't have a 40mm drill :( so chain drilled the centre out.
Image

TIG welded the tubing to the plate.
Image

Put it in the lathe and cleaned up the inside and outside. Also polished the inside.
Image

Test fit on a spare head and all looks good :)
Image

Iv not seen a picture like this before :shock:
Image

Looking down the inlet tract, diameter is matched all the way from the velocity stack to the engine so should have good air flow :D
Image

Still need to cut the inlet manifold down a bit but going to wait until I install the throttle body as I want the velocity stack to be at the right place in the air box. Purposefully made it a bit too long.
